Project Description

Baylor University Medical Center’s Interfaith Garden fountain is located outdoors and is used as a prayer garden by hospital patients and visitors. GPSI worked with the general contractor and the landscape architect in providing the mechanical, electrical and plumbing drawings for this project. The fountain has a center water wall, which provides a white water effect in the center of the fountain. On either side of the water wall, three smooth bore jet nozzles are installed which provide a horizontal spray of water into the lower fountain basin. The fountain pumps and controls, filtration and water treatment equipment are located in a bottom floor equipment room of an adjacent parking garage. The fountain spray and water wall effects are illuminated at night and are operational 16 hours a day, 7 days a week.
