First Colony Mall

This water feature is located next to The Cheesecake Factory restaurant at First Colony Mall, Sugarland Texas and is a destination for diners and shoppers alike. The water feature consists of two raised basin structures of water containing with multiple lighted cascade nozzle effects. The cascade jets are positioned randomly throughout the pool amid circular planters of bald cypress trees creating a unique setting for water and landscape. A walkway consisting of 1” thick acrylic walls splits the two basin structures. At opposing ends of each of the basins water cascades over each wall to a trough area that parallels the sidewalk. The acrylic walls serve as a translucent viewing corridor for the water feature basins on either side of the walkway.
