Project Description

Forest Park Medical Center is a new hospital facility located adjacent the Clear Fork portion of Trinity River.  The water feature associated with the project is an interior feature located in the main lobby area.  There are two water curtains that sit side by side divided by a portion of wall.  The feature is an inset water curtain 12’ tall x 7’ and 4’ respectively.  Each curtain effect uses a clear filament as the water conduit to stainless steel basins below.  At the base of the water curtains there is additional water added to the stainless steel basins that then create a weir flow effect into a receiving basin and recirculated.  Up lighting is in place to illuminate the water curtain.  All pumps, controls and treatment systems are located in a dedicated equipment room close to the water feature.

Scope of work: Design Build providing both engineering design & construction. Our construction scope included installation of all fountain MEP, pumps, controls, treatment systems and custom fabricated stainless steel weir sumps.
