Project Description

The Hunt building makes a bold contemporary statement with its location at the gateway to downtown Dallas. The dramatic curved-glass curtain wall façade, dubbed “the sail,” is an iconic stamp to the building’s design. The state-of-the-art building design is surrounded by a framework of beautiful gardens and lush landscaping. A focal point to the design is a streambed effect that runs along the west side of the property. The headwaters of the feature start at the west entry of the building, cascading down weir structures that then become two streambed effects that converge into one toward the end of the feature. The bottom of the streambed is constructed of Mexican beach pebble hand set in various vertical alignments creating a texture at the water’s surface.
