Project Description
The fountain at TCU Campus Commons, i.e. the “Frog Fountain,” is a circular basin that features four multilevel copper clad trumpet flutes that flow water into the lower basin. Cascade jet nozzles surround the flutes and LED programmable lights are installed for nighttime enhancement. GPSI provided the mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations for this fountain. The fountain pumps and controls, filtration and water treatment equipment are located in an underground vault buried next to the fountain. This fountain is TCU’s signature landmark and is a favorite meeting place for students, alumni, campus visitors and TCU’s faculty & staff.
