Project Description

A magnificent 33’ diameter three-tier fountain clad in hand-carved white marble fronts the White’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Southlake Texas.  The 10’ diameter upper bowl is topped with an 8.5’ tall statue of Jesus that is a replication of a work by Danish sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen located in the Church of Our Lady in Copenhagen. Custom made nozzles arch water into the bowl creating a near laminar column of water pouring over the large radius edge into the middle tier basin.  The lower basin is a separate water system and features a ring of nozzles creating frothy columns of water 18” high.  White LED lights at every level create a beacon of light that can be seen on overhead clouds.  All pumps, controls and treatment systems are located in large underground vault 50’ from the fountain.

Scope of work: Design Build providing both engineering design & construction. Our construction scope included installation of all fountain MEP, pumps, controls, treatment systems, water proofing and concrete equipment vault.
