Project Description
The TCU Brown-Lupton University Union fountain is located in the front plaza of the new union auditorium. GPSI worked with the general contractor in providing the hardscape, mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations for this project. The fountain includes six fan spray nozzles which are controlled with wind sensors. They will shut off automatically in the event of high winds, yet still leave water flowing across two half-circle raised water tables and into a lower basin. The fountain pumps and controls, filtration and water treatment equipment are located in an underground vault buried next to the fountain. The fountain spray effects are illuminated at night. This fountain is operational 16 hours a day, 7 days a week.
