Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, North Carolina features a nature inspired water play environment designed to encourage exploration and hands-on interaction. GPSI constructed a variety of engaging water features including interactive water toys where visitors can pump, direct, and channel water through playful elements that mimic natural stream systems. The project also includes a splash pad with deck level expressions of vertical water, a custom stone waterfall, and a constructed wetland that supports the park’s ecological goals while blending seamlessly into the surrounding landscape, creating a vibrant destination where water, nature, and play come together for the Raleigh community.
