Home > Allen Civic Plaza

The Allen Civic Plaza serves as a common outdoor area for the City Hall, Police HQ and Allen Parks & Rec building with two beautiful water feature effects. The first is a streambed that meanders through the plaza where recirculation is achieved using submersible pumps positioned in the main pool circulating water to the top of the streambed. The second has a custom nozzle grid used to create a five foot wide, six foot tall block of water which is lit brilliantly at night. The hardscape portion of the project is made of cut limestone that creates the upper basins and waterways. The artist, Brad Goldberg, performed all the custom stonework.
