Home > Love Field Airport

The iconic "Spirit of Flight" fountain is located at Love Field Airport in Dallas, TX. This statue was originally commissioned in 1959 by the Corrigan Family. In 2010 the need to create greater airport thoroughfare required that the fountain be moved. GPSI duplicated and rehabbed the original structure, and it was relocated a few hundred yards east of the previous location. The vertical effects in the upper basin accent the sculpture with waterfalls and arching jets from the upper to the lower basin with lighting that highlights the historic beatuy of the bronze sculptures representing man's victory over flight.
