Project Description

RadioShack’s corporate headquarters, located in downtown Fort Worth, was completed in 2003 and has since become the iconic symbol of Belknap Street. The 300 foot water feature was designed by SWA Group’s Dallas office. The structure is elliptical in shape and spans 20 feet at its widest point, gradually narrowing to 5 feet in width. The structure reaches 15 feet at its highest point and reduces to seat-level height at the lowest point. The water wall spans 180 feet along the center of the 300 foot structure and contains a graduating water wall that flows 7,000 gallons of water per minute. There are 105 copper bubbler jets in the upper basin. Both water wall and basin jets have programmable LED lighting.
